Patent Award: Targazyme Inc., a biopharmaceutical company, has been awarded a US patent for fucosylation of various therapeutic cells to improve their targeting and homing to sites of tumors and inflammation.
Fucosylation Technology: Fucosylation is an enzyme-based platform technology that treats therapeutic cells at the point-of-care before infusion into the patient. It aims to improve efficacy, safety and cost of care outcomes for patients with various diseases.
Global Patent Portfolio: Targazyme is the industry leader and exclusively controls multiple issued US and international patents for fucosylation technologies. It has also received multiple FDA orphan drug designations and has an open IND with ongoing clinical studies.
